Work with colorful stained glass in the new demo for The Artisan of Glimmith, coming soon from the experienced puzzle studio behind Islands of Insight

Corey Hardt, 10 January 2026

Lunarch Studios have cut their teeth making challenging puzzle games for years: Islands of Insight was a massive, open-world, multiplayer landscape filled with puzzles, and before that Jelly is Sticky, taking inspiration from Japanese puzzle games, tested even the most seasoned fans of the genre.

Their latest endeavor comes in the form of The Artisan of Glimmith, a newly unveiled logic-puzzle game that turns puzzle grids into rainbow sheets of stained glass and tasks you with putting the colors in all the right places. The game was revealed with a demo ready to play, and a new trailer:

We're venturing to a fantasy kingdom floating in the clouds, with vistas of idyllic forests and crumbling castle walls. It seems we'll be moving through this overworld realm searching for the window puzzles that we've been hired to repair, which present as full-screen logic grid affairs. Choosing colors to fill in and marking regions on the grid, you'll piece together the stained glass to satisfy more and more complex rules as they come into play.

Aside from the pretty visuals, Glimmith's Steam page gives the expected impression of a no-nonsense puzzle game experience: handcrafted puzzles with some real design credentials behind them, lots of levels and compounding logic rules to work through, including optional endgame challenges, and a level editor for creation and sharing of community-made puzzles.

You can play a demo for The Artisan of Glimmith on Steam now, or wishlist the game ahead of its expected March release date.
