Upcoming first-person wall-walking puzzler He Who Watches reveals Draknek & Friends as publisher

Corey Hardt, 26 March 2026

We've been anticipating the archery-gravity-block-puzzle-dungeon-adventure He Who Watches for some time, and we now know that it'll debut in the experienced hands of Draknek & Friends who have been adding more and more big-name puzzle titles to their publisher catalogue. Here's the trailer for this upcoming first-person, three-dimensional puzzle game:

There's a distinctly Zelda-esque feel to the dungeon aesthetics of He Who Watches, but it's pretty clear the game will be much more focused on the logic and puzzles compared to Link's adventures. Jumping onto walls and manipulating the gravity around you while using your trusty bow and arrow to grab blocks with chains and pull them around, all in first person, forms the core of the experience here from which plenty of other mechanical twists will branch out. On the story side, we're being asked to "Delve deep into a labyrinth of intricate conundrums, seeking the god at the centre of it all."

Playing from the perspective of walking/climbing around inside of a rotating puzzle box is a unique point of view for a puzzle game, and the production and style on display here were eye-catching even before we knew the experience and pedigree of Draknek & Friends would be bolstering the game and making sure it's up to their high standard of quality. From in-house developed titles like A Monster's Expedition to other classics they've helped publish like LOK Digital and Patrick's Parabox, their seal has increasingly become a mark of a top-tier thinky game experience.

He Who Watches does not yet have a release date, but the Draknek announcement does say they expect the game to launch sometime this year. You can wishlist the game on Steam where a free demo is also available.
