Season 2 kicks off today, meaning there's a brand new puzzle waiting for you right now on the Dailies page, and the story has picked back up where it left off. If you haven't yet played any Season 1 puzzles, not to worry, Joe recently wrote about our entire backlog opening up to the public: no account or waiting list required, just dozens of unique handmade conundrums you can play in your browser.
In the newly debuted Season 2, the lead of our story is set to learn more about the mysterious society of the "Solvers" that appeared during the first season, and they'll be encountering all manner of new characters while venturing to strange new depths.
This time around there will be new puzzle types that we've never seen before, and some genres that we dipped our toes into will be expanded. Our Dailies project manager Luis got lots of requests for some specific puzzle types that showed up in the first season, and he's glad to share that some of these favorites will be making a return in Season 2.
