This week we went live with our 2nd annual Thinky Direct, a giant video presentation and celebration of dozens of upcoming puzzle-adjacent games, featuring over 40 announcements, trailers, new demos and more. If you missed the festivities on Thursday, you can still watch the whole hour-long livestream on our YouTube channel (linked below) and on our Direct homepage you can find an exhaustive list of every game that partnered up with us to show off new exciting reveals and debuts.
You might notice the video is significantly longer than just one hour, because Joe stayed on a few hours after that to demo a bunch of the featured games to give everyone a closer look.
The range of headlines and announcements was too wide to easily summarize here, but highlights included: respected studio Draknek & Friends revealing the next title they'll be publishing (DITTORI), new demo reveals from anticipated titles like Echo Weaver (Akupara Games) and Escape Academy 2, the release of the cartography game Map Map, not one but TWO new game announcements from wacky and wonderful puzzle maker FLEB, more new intriguing trailers than I can remember... seriously, you've got to just browse the Thinky Direct page to see the full breadth of New Stuff.
Oh and before I forget, we also threw in there the announcement that our very own Thinky Dailies will be returning very soon for Season 3! These different-every-day illustrated puzzles that tell an ongoing story have gained a huge number of fans over the course of the first 2 seasons, and none of you will have to wait long, as the adventure continues a few days from now on Monday, June 1st. (If you haven't tried them out yet... they're all free, they work on mobile, and the variety is great.)
