A small collection of playful maze variations.
20 Small Mazes is a short free game featuring a collection of twenty unique mazes. The goal is to reach the exit point as in your classic mazes, but the game adds a special gimmick to each maze. Packed with effortless creativity, 20 Small Mazes offers a fun one-hour break.
The game sets its playful tone right from the start, with the menu itself presented as a maze. There is no level selection afterwards, since all twenty mazes come in the form of cards that you can grab and drag as you want, allowing you to solve them in any order.
20 Small Mazes has various mechanics that bring diversity to the puzzles. For example, one of the mazes is foldable, another one lets you control the maze itself... It is a game full of inspiration, which relies mainly on spatial visualization and adaptability to witty rule changes.
One of the mazes requires a pinch of dexterity, being of the “don’t touch the borders” type. If you do, you’re simply set back to the beginning of that maze. A few other mazes provide a decent amount of thinky challenge, but overall the game was designed to be fairly approachable.
