The Steam Strategy Fest has begun! From now until September 4, you can find a slew of demos, discounts, and upcoming releases of brilliant strategy and tactics games that will scratch that thinky itch.
During the festival, you can find discounts on great games ranging from turn-based strategy to city-building. These include card and board games like Inscryption and Scythe, 4X titles such as Europa Universalis IV and Civilization VI, and some combat-focused offerings like Warhammer 40K Mechanicus. These are just a few of the large variety of games being featured, so whatever your flavour of thinky, you are bound to find something interesting here.
Along with discounts, there are plenty of demos for upcoming titles you can download and try, with a few highlights being Cross Blitz, The Settlings, Ecognomix, Tacticube, and even a title from a thinky community member called Glass Tactics. Like other Steam fests, it's possible some of these demos may disappear after the event, so download any that take your fancy before they go!
