With comic-book style art that lends it a sense of whimsicality, Railbound by Afterburn Games is a relaxing track-bending puzzle game about two dogs traveling the world. Your goal is to direct each train carriage so that they arrive behind the locomotive in the correct numbered sequence.
The track-laying mechanic of Railbound is similar to that of Cosmic Express and Trainyard, and with each subsequent world players are introduced to new mechanics such as tunnels and buttons that change the directions of tracks.
Afterburn Games are also behind the hits inbento and Golf Peaks — inbento in particular really hit all the sweet spots for me, so hearing about Railbound being made by the same folks brought me a lot of joy.
