A giant in our little puzzle scene, Draknek & Friends started publishing commercial games 12 years ago this month, and they show no signs of slowing down. Alan Hazelden started the studio over a decade ago publishing his own works, and has since expanded the brand to include lots of modern-day-classic puzzle games.
In celebration of this anniversary milestone, they've got a few fun promotions running: if you somehow don't have them already, you can pick up any of the individual games in their Anniversary Steam Sale, running until September 11. Or if you want to dive all the way in and get the best deal possible, you can get everything in one cheap package in their Humble Bundle which benefits the Trevor Project charity.
There are a few different bundle price-tiers available, but the really attractive one is $15 for all 8 D&F published games, including the brilliant LOK, the sprawling A Monster's Expedition, and other classics like Bonfire Peaks and Cosmic Express.
The giveaway to mark the occasion consists of 12 free titles that will be distributed to those who sign up by email at this link, the winners having a choice of any game and platform they'd prefer. Signing up subscribes you to the Draknek & Friends "Thinky Third Thursday" newsletter, a monthly round-up of their puzzle game picks, which you may have seen around here before.
The most recent news from the studio is that their scary sequel to Cosmic Express is expected to release a couple months from now, just in time for the appropriate holiday: the creature-filled track-laying game Spooky Express will debut on October 21st.
