Where's My Egg?

Where’s My Egg? is a sokoban game about a chicken father pushing blocks in order to retrieve his missing eggs. The puzzles are all about unlocking color-coded doors using lasers, pressure plates, portals, and more. The game is bound to appeal to seasoned sokoban players, as it gets a lot of mileage out of relatively straightforward mechanics.

The goal of each level is to reach the egg at the end of a corridor that is obstructed by one or more color-coded doors. Each door is unlocked by bringing a block onto the corresponding pressure plate, or by pointing a laser to the corresponding light bulb block. Common sokoban elements such as portals, laser redirectors and breakable floor tiles are progressively introduced to spice things up. The late game also features a trickier swap mechanic. Solving the levels requires visualizing relevant block positions and unlocking the doors in the right sequence.

Clearing a level often grants access to two new levels, and you don’t have to clear them all in order to get to the last stages of the game. The level select screen marks unsolved puzzles with only the silhouette of an egg; after solving the level, the silhouette turns into a unique and colorful egg sprite. This cute pixel art, along with the humorous sound effects, add to the charm of the creative puzzles.
