Glitch Dungeon Crystal: Babushka Quest

Glitch Dungeon Crystal is a metroidvania puzzle-platformer about a sweet old lady sweeping up a corrupted dungeon with her broom. Progressing through this glitch-ridden space requires the use of magical abilities, like walking on air or floating like a feather, which offer new ways to traverse obstacles and interact with the dungeon's inhabitants.

The old lady's main ability is to use her broom to sweep away glitches, although some glitches cannot be cleared. If she touches a glitch, she'll reset to the latest checkpoint, typically at the beginning of the room. Throughout the dungeon, she'll also encounter pillars that bestow "hag magic" abilities, which provide new ways to avoid obstacles and make her way to the next door.

However, these magical abilities are only temporary; our protagonist's frail memory means she can only remember two abilities at a time and will forget them when passing through clouds of "holy aura". This constraint means that you'll need to carefully plan which abilities you're working with and come up with creative new ways to use your chosen abilities. At any point you can switch from one ability to the other and will often need to do so quickly in the midsts of some tricky platforming.

Glitch Dungeon Crystal's world is surreal and dark, yet also playful, filled with quirky animal characters who make entertaining quips and help guide you through the world. The glitchy nature of the game will have you questioning whether you're breaking the game or the game is hiding secrets from you.
