Here is an excerpt from Fivefold's description on the game's official website:

Fill the grid so each of the puzzle's five digits appears exactly once in every row and every column, and follow the rule symbols.

Each puzzle uses two of the many possible rules.

One Greater: The dotted arrow points to a number that is smaller by 1.

Odd/even: One number is odd and the other is even.

Tap a cell to select it and use the number buttons to modify it. Normal mode is for final answers, Notes mode is for making "pencil marks" while you work through possibilities.
