Game trailer

ElecHead is a puzzle-platformer about a charming little robot who must navigate a treacherous power plant. You must guide the robot to the end of each level by making clever use of its electricity-generating detachable head. The game has extremely tight puzzle design focused on a gentle difficulty curve where each level introduces a new concept, paired with responsive and satisfying platforming.

To get through ElecHead’s stages, you utilize the power of electricity. The robot you control generates electricity, and all the surfaces in the game conduct electricity, so simply standing on the floor could power up and materialize new platforms. The gadgets that you activate range from moving platforms to deadly lasers, so you have to be careful about where you step and when. The game further enables you to throw your own head away from your body, allowing for many surprising interactions.

All the puzzles are tightly designed, with minimal extraneous elements, forcing you to use your abilities in creative ways to overcome the obstacles. Although there are some bonus rooms and a few side paths, beating the game is a fairly linear affair. There also might be some secrets lurking within the factory walls…

Because ElecHead is a puzzle-platformer, the game requires platforming skills as well as deductive logic. The movement is smooth and responsive, and the platforming is meant to be occasionally tricky, but never the most formidable part of a stage—except for some bonus rooms. The game features no story but it has a charming vibe, with clear, chunky pixel art and a changeable in-game color scheme.
