Multi-Sheep — Making every sheep count

In my sleep I dream of sheep I've been worried all day Now the sheep don't know the way

Multi-Sheep

I wonder if people still count sheep to go to sleep? In the mini browser game Multi-Sheep, you are an ordinary person counting sheep, but your anxiety has them confused and lost outside their pen. Help your poor sheep move together as they try to reach their goal.

In this Sokoban-style puzzler, you’re moving several sheep at once as you attempt to dodge spikes, avoid getting the sheep stuck, and make sure they’re all stacked and moving in unison. This browser game by Carlos Pedroso is espoused in a degree of simplicity that perfectly gets across the mechanics of the game in the very first level.

Your mouse will come in very useful to rotate the voxel block mini stage, giving you views that otherwise aren’t present in classic Sokoban games. Oftentimes, changing your view will help you understand the flow in which your sheep should head towards. Using the terrain to your advantage is a big part of the game — there are blocks that allow you to raise your sheep, and strategically placed blocks of terrain that help you “lock” a sheep in place.

As you’re journeying through the later stages of Multi-Sheep, you come across more deviously tricky pitfalls, spikes, and hazards. Your very squishy sheep truly need to be on their toes and the undo and restart buttons are essential in figuring out the correct path. There is no shame in admitting that you messed up, and undo-ing or restarting the level can give you a tabula rasa on which to test yet another theory. This is the cornerstone of thinkiness for puzzle games — try and learn, and try again.
