Our hope is that the work we do here at Thinky Games will inspire more coverage of this genre from other games media outlets, providing a broader perspective of the genre as the community grows.

Professional relationships with other businesses or individuals

Carina Intiatives

Thinky Games is an initiative of the Carina Initiatives, whose mission is to “send more kids from more communities to the frontiers of science and technology”. The Carina Initiatives provide both funding and management support to help us run the site. However, Thinky Games is not their only initiative; they also provide support to other organizations in accordance with their mission.

Since the scope of the Carina Initiatives’ involvement in the thinky games space is broad, we will include an appropriate disclaimer alongside all of our content. Additionally, other than helping us set our general content direction, the Carina Initiatives do not have any say in our choice of subject matter or the content itself. Our contributors are given complete discretion to provide their honest views about their subject matters of choice.

Individuals in the thinky games community

Our editorial and writing staff are active members of various communities that exist around thinky games (for example, the Thinky Puzzle Games Discord server) and have interacted with many individuals involved in this space. Some of our writers are also involved in game development and have collaborated with others on games and other projects.

While it would be impossible to declare all of these interactions, we will endeavor to include clear disclaimers alongside our content where it is pertinent to our impartiality. Furthermore, we will never publish any content where the writer has a clear financial or emotional investment in the subject at hand or any individuals or businesses involved.
