The Electrifying Incident: A Monster Mini-Expedition is a short sokoban puzzle game about the iconic Draknek monster trying to prevent a meltdown. The path to the reactor is blocked by doors you need to open by moving cubes onto pressure plates with a grabber arm. The Electrifying Incident uses classic mechanics in an interconnected environment, offering an unconventional 30 to 90-minute experience.

In this expedition, the monster comes equipped with a grabber arm that lets them safely manipulate cubes from a distance. This grabber-arm can be used in surprising ways, and can especially be bent around corners, which adds originality and complexity to the otherwise more classic mechanics you encounter. Cubes can be used to activate pressure plates and open doors, but they also conduct electricity. This can be harmful for the monster if they walk too close, however this also allows for the creation of electrical circuits that can power certain doors.

The Electrifying Incident's most important aspect is its interconnected structure. Self-contained puzzles are not the only focus of the game, cubes often need to be carried across several puzzles. An optional ending takes full advantage of the interconnection and the game's reduced space, turning it into one giant meta-puzzle.
