Magnet Block is a pure sokoban puzzle game about a little machine that needs to rearrange magnets. As the name suggests, every block on the grid is either a blue or a red magnet, and their otherwise simple properties lead to complex situations. Magnet Block’s refined design echoes that of a certain sausage game, but it pushes the difficulty further and will present a challenge even to the most hardened puzzle veterans.

The goal of a Magnet Block level is to reach the exit teleporter, but typically you’ll first have to activate it by putting a magnet over every green tile in the room. Much like real-life physics, two magnets of the same color will repel each other, while magnets of opposite colors will stick together. The only thing your robot character can do is push blocks around, but since these blocks can compound into new shapes, and then these shapes can break apart when meeting obstacles, this quickly leads to volatile situations.

Magnet Block only introduces new mechanics sparingly. The game is first and foremost about understanding how the magnets interact and finding the miracle setup. The levels are often very tricky to navigate due to the lack of room, even though you’ll only be dealing with a handful of blocks. There are no filler levels either; each puzzle has been designed to teach you a subtlety that will further improve your magnet maneuvering. And finding the level trick doesn't mean you're in the clear, as you’ll still have to set up the room for it in precise ways.

The first 20 levels of Magnet Block are available in the demo, and they act as a tutorial. Once you’ve revealed enough of its advanced setups, the game will unlock the rest of its contents—107 levels, no less. The level progression is fitted to a balanced difficulty curve, but you can always try another puzzle when you get stuck.
