Guide two hands through sokoban puzzles in their search for a warm, firm handshake.
Handshakes is a short and free sokoban game about, well, shaking hands. You simultaneously control two arms that need to extend or shrink to reach each other. With its original twist on the sokoban formula, Handshakes offers a fun concept and a relaxing break.
The game features a collection of 30 grid-based puzzles that can be finished in around an hour. Being this short, Handshakes has very few mechanics. They are mostly classic sokoban ones such as pushing boxes or toggling buttons, but there are also unique ones such as cutting an arm and then using the detached hand as a box. (There’s nothing graphical about it, and the arm will instantly regrow another hand.)
One hand is controlled with WASD and the other with arrow keys. You can play Handshakes either solo or with another player, by sharing the keyboard and having each player in control of an arm. Though most levels are on the easy side, a few of them still offer a good amount of challenge.
